Auto-Submit Shift Notes & Easily Tag Residents

Welcome to another 1VALET feature update. This week, we made some improvements to our Shift Notes features. Now, users can configure Shift Notes to auto-submit at the end of a shift, helping operations staff save time on their duties. We’ve also added Mentions to Shift Notes, which allows operations staff to tag residents and/or suites in their notes.

Auto-Submit Shift Notes

Shift notes can now be configured to auto-submit themselves after a period of time so that you don’t have to submit them at the end of a shift. This ensures that protocol is followed while also helping to streamline the daily responsibilities for asset managers and operations staff.

This toggle can be found on the Shift Notes “Manage settings” page. Shift notes can be set to auto-submit 12 hours after creation or at a specific time based on the template.

Shift Note Mentions

If your building has shift notes enabled, you can now tag and mention residents and/or suites when creating shift notes. This mention will only appear on the 1CONNECT Portal and the resident will not be notified. To mention a resident or suite, type “@” or click on the @ icon to open the drop down menu.
