Package Delivery For Multi-Family – 1VALET Adds Package Room Solution to Simplify Package Management

Package delivery management is quickly becoming one of the largest issues for property and asset managers alike. With the explosion of eCommerce as a result of the pandemic, many apartment and condo buildings are receiving hundreds of packages on a daily basis. In most cases, these communities don’t have the capabilities or infrastructure to handle this many deliveries. Now, through the addition of a second 1VALET Smart Entry System, customers can easily turn any room into a secure package room that stores deliveries and notifies residents as soon as their package has been delivered.   Watch how our Package Room program works:   The solution starts with the 1VALET’s Smart Entry System, an innovative intercom system that features patented Package Scanning technology. Upon arrival at the building, couriers are greeted by the Smart Entry System, which seamlessly grants them access into the building simply by scanning the package. Once in the building, they’re directed to the Package Room, where the courier is prompted to input recipient data into the second Smart Entry System. Once inputted, the Smart Entry System grants the courier access into the Package Room, where they are able to securely drop-off the package. After drop-off, residents are notified with pick-up instructions directly to their 1VALET Resident App. “We’re extremely excited to be able to offer this package delivery solution to new and existing customers,” said 1VALET Head of Product Hanna Haddad. “Along with our already existing package locker integrations, we’re now able to offer multiple turnkey solutions for one of the largest issues currently affecting property and asset managers.” Whether for a new development or retrofit project, 1VALET’s Package Room program gives developers and asset managers the ability to easily include a package delivery management solution in any of their multi-family buildings.
